Chris J. Taylor, PharmD, BCPS is a clinical pharmacist practitioner in the areas of acute care and critical care medicine at the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and completed residency training (PGY1 & PGY2) at the University of Tennessee Medical Center - Knoxville. He has served as the PGY1 residency coordinator (2002-2005) and as director of the PGY2 Residency in Internal Medicine Pharmacy Practice (2005-2019) at the Phoenix VA. He currently serves as an experiential preceptor for multiple colleges of pharmacy and has a strong commitment to guiding future pharmacy practitioners and leaders. He was honored as Preceptor of the Year from the University of Arizona (2015) and Midwestern University - Glendale Campus (2021) Colleges of Pharmacy and was awarded the VA Support Team Member of the Year by the University of Arizona College of Medicine Residency Class for the 2016-2017 academic year. Chris' areas of interest include cardiovascular medicine, infectious disease, and pharmacy education and mentoring.
